Question though……four homers in 26 games is doable for sure, but what about steals? Can’t overlook those because it’s a lot to do with situations. Gonna be tough to do both, but he’s definitely in the driver’s seat

Haven't crunched the numbers nevertheless, say, the Cubs had a league average WAR from their pitching staff.  It's probably not that much of an exaggeration to state they'd have baseball' best record and, of course, be ahead of the Brewers.

Nothings ever exact but they’d likely be 1 ahead of Milwaukee at 86 wins, give or take. Who knows how many fewer innings they’d play with all the extra inning games and less balls hit in play with a higher K% which boost the defensive metrics with more opportunities. Either way this upcoming series would determine first place.

 

It’s demoralizing.

MVP?  Chourio', don't you know, is a sure fire HOF'er while PCA "struggles" on defense and doesn't steal bases.
