We need to find an ace or two.  I don’t see anyone right now.

The postseason going to be relied upon these 3, Imanaga Gausman and Boyd to get it done for them.

Bullpen and the Bats will likely be the make or break for them for the most part.

And we’d be underdogs in games 1-3 versus the Brewers, Dodgers and Phillies.  My point is we need 1-2 pitchers to get on a heater going into the playoffs.   Maybe Holmes can be one?

Civale seems to always do great work in mop-up

I feel like I'm the Rockwell meme about our reliever who always seems to pitch well being a guy I'd like to see pitch more and not be on the roster bubble.

If Holmes can pitch like he did, before the injury, he should be our #1.  Then, we need to pick between Boyd, Shota, Gausman and Cabrera for #2 and 3.

Sasaki was super lucky.  Pitched 6 innings and 13 hard hits and 5 walks.  For some reason, he gave up only 2 runs.

I went a little meatball and did the same thought process, going so far as to be like 'well maybe he could be a shutdown multi inning guy'. But he's actually better second time through the order. And is generally a good pitcher. Nats offense is good, he had a good start last time, we'll be fine.

Game theeads are meant for knee jerk reactions.
