PCA has not looked great the last few games.  Hopefully just a small bump for him.

He had to come back down to earth - he’s a stud, so he will come back. Just cooling off from where he was - he was on a RIDICULOUS pace and to maintain that is near impossible

Cubs are swinging early and often.  Need to put some pressure on Woodruff to throw more pitches.

Woodruff throws a lot of strikes and rarely walks hitter. It's probably not a winning proposition to take a lot. That said I would like it if they chased the high fastball less.

It's gotten to the point where I don't know what Bregman is looking for. He takes a lot of strikes, swings at weird pitches, and rarely makes hard contact

This Bregman RISP thing is gonna regress eventually, why not start now

Or, you know, not

He's still pretty good at controlling the zone but other than that displays essentially zero attributes of a good hitter anymore

First run allowed in over a month (May 17) for Ryan Rolison. Since that day, 18 innings scoreless,

Also one impressive stat for Rolison. In May, he allowed 10 walks and struck out 13 batters.

In June, he allowed 3 walks and struck out 13 batters.

is he? I feel like he gets jammed a lot on pitches, takes a lot of middle/middle strikes, and pops everything up. He's guessing instead of reacting
