Frustrating Bregman didn't hustle. I can forgive a guy going through it at the plate; that's baseball. And I'm not one of these "you have to run out a popfly to 2b" types. But that's a bad look for a guy who isn't ingratiating himself to the team offensively.

I don’t think it’s asking too much for a guy that bats 4 times a game to give 100% effort during those at bats. but even if you want to take the position that it’s fine for a guy not to sprint out every single at bat of the season, I’d say a 1-0 game in the sixth inning is not one of the few you’re allowed to jog out.
