Sooner or later the Cubs are going to catch a break, baseball, being the random game that is, means the not every two out bloop by the opposition is going to find a hole for multiple RBI's.  Or every hard hit ball by Cubs is going to find a glove. In addition to PCA' three with EV's north of 100, didn't several Cubs' hitters crush a balls yesterday with little to no results?  Just ain't going to keep happening well, for, at least, one game.

Wicks huh.  The offense is trash but needing to throw a guy like him out there tells you just how horrible things have become.  You've got the Brewers throwing guys like Miz for auto-wins and the Cubs broken down on the side of the highway with a smoking ruin on the mound.

I accepted the fact the Cubs losing streak will reach double digits. ATP, I just hope they can win a game before May is over.

If the Cubs want to win and make this post look bad, I am prepared to wear it.

Alcantara is no better than Happ or Suzuki, so I don't see why this matters. It's not like we're keeping rookie Mike Trout on the pine

I could see Alcantara starting against a LHP.  Wouldn't mind Ramirez starting again.  Has looked better at the plate than Swanson.   Probably won't do anything but desperate times call for desperate measures
