Hello. I am Colgera, a Cubs-Brewers-Cardinals-Yankees fan but also a very deep thinker. I am into sabermetrics and advanced statistics, and I find it very interesting that I am a fan of two teams. I enjoy conversations with many people and enjoy myself understanding the world even more. I am an unofficial historian as well, with a lens on fiscal policy in the 20th century.

I look forward to profound intellectual discussion and historical baseball chats!

A bit more about me: I work in research and travel quite frequently. I find great experiences traveling.

You sound like a real Cubs Dude

Funny.  That's what I was thinking, too.

Welcome.

Hi, my name is Steve. I’m a White Sox and Padres fan. I’m here to party. I’m really into 18th Century French monetary policy vis a via the Knights Templar and Huguenot expulsion.

Without out saying a single word, this might be the post of the year.

Either this is the same guy, or this is the second wave of Gen Alpha discovering message boards.

For 5 seconds, I thought it might be the same guy.  Then, I realized the post was too short.  The Dude usually writes at least 6 paragraphs. 😁

I don't love anointing him Dude, even posthumously.

But there, there was a lot about the Dude that didn't make a whole lotta sense to me...

I admin the Dude is a legend, even though I put him in "ignore" and he was here for 2 weeks?  He left a big impact.

What a foolish name to call someone a "dude." I am not a "dude." I champion research, where I work. And I'm... a lady.

But, regardless, who is this legend of which you speak? I do not see a "Cubs Dude" here. Or is this a phrase?

I'm not Gen Alpha; I'm older!
