as someone that went to the thursday day game, i can confirm it was the heat. thank goodness the cubs won because that would’ve been a brutal way to spend a few hours otherwise.

did a switch get flipped? the ads are obnoxious today (frequency and placement.) -
was there a layout change made to the boards within the last several hours? on mobile, recent posts are showing up on the right side of the site and smashing the topics up so it’s difficult to navigate.

probably. the implication then would be that those players were the kind of minorities that were respectful to the game instead of these uppity minorities (trademark ty cobb) playing the game now.

this is my kinda horsefeathers right here The recent history of Cubs players involved in domestic violence might be reason to reposition your moral high ground. None of it is funny or joke worthy. we haven't memorialized our domestic abusers in our stadium. until that day happens i'm ok with my stance here.

St. Louis Dispatch about to publish a column saying we should rename it Stephen Piscotty's Disease. Pretty sure if my mother was dying of a horrible disease it would have an effect on my job performance. Pretty sure you're a dickhole for making a joke about it. at least she'll probably be spared the pain of outliving her son becoming another drunk driving statistic.
