Feels like at least two of Shaw, Caissie, Alcantara, Assad, Wicks or Brown are on their way to Miami, right?

I mean there's some drastically different levels of value among them. Like Shaw+Caissie would feel real bad, but Caissie+Assad would feel pretty great.

I’ll continue to hope we keep Alcantara and the Ginger, but I feel I’m gonna get disappointed.

If Shaw goes, I assume a signing of a 3B will soon come right?

If Shaw goes, one of Bichette/Bregman has to be coming

Man trading Caissie would kill me 😢

You'd be sad to miss him striking out 40% of the time?

I'll go ahead and guess a 4 player deal, with one of Ballesteros/Caissie as headliner, one of Alcantara/Long/Triantos, one of Assad/Wicks, and a mid-level position player in the Cubs' 7-15 range like Rojas/Hernandez/Kepley.

I am a redheaded Canadian, my like of him as a player on the Cubs is not based on stats.

My guess is going to be Caissie/Ballestros, Javier Assad, Jonathan Long

Sounds like it’s going to be Caissie, not Mo (nor Shaw).

Not sure who else.

Ballesteros on the surface (ie doing 30 seconds of reading on the Marlins Roster Resource page) doesn't seem like a good fit. A team like them should obviously be in the business of acquiring the most talent possible, but they have Joe Mack, a 23 year catching prospect with highly regarded defense who put up a 107 wRC with 18 HRs in 100 games in AAA last year, ranked top 40 league wide per FG. Meanwhile, Caissie, Alcantara, and Shaw all almost definitely make the opening day lineup next year.

I think the Cubs would be a bit hesitant to trade Alcantara as he's basically your back up CFer right now with no one else currently on the roster who can reliably fill in.

Yeah maybe but that can't hold up a deal. His value as trade capital as a top 100 centerfielder prospect is way higher than his value as backup outfielder forever blocked by PCA.

If they want him, go sign Willi Castro or Tauchman or whatever. Or teach Shaw to fake it.
