We've not seen PCA' best this post season, I believe we'll see something great from PCA tonight.

Pomeranz, interesting choice but it is what it is. Let’s pour it on so it doesn’t end up mattering who’s pitching for the Cubs.

Even if they lose, I'm satisfied.  I couldn't say that 4 days ago .

That being said. Let's go!

House money all the way. I will be very happy if they win. But honestly, will not be as upset as I used to get in the Theo times, if they lose. Been a great season. But like everyone else said.    LET’S GO!!!!! Let’s win this game!!!!!

These games are still nerve wracking and all that but it does feel like they are slightly less life and death since winning the World Series, I am thankful for that even if it kind of sucks it will never feel that important again.

I’ve read several comments about win or lose, it has been a great season. I couldn’t agree more!

In hindsight and retrospect - they lose Steele for the year, Shota for a portion of the season, have a group of older relief pitchers who have outperformed everyone’s expectations, went through a major slump as a team after the break, but through all that they are on the verge of going to the NLCS! Pretty great season - I for one didn’t take time to appreciate it as much as I should.

I was hypercritical of their coach (still question his decision making), their performances during August and part of September, and didn’t think they would advance as far as they did with how August and much of September went. Shows how much I know lol - in any case, I’m glad they proved me wrong. It’s been a great season either way, but how amazing would it be to come back down 0-2 against your division rival and make it to the NLCS?!

Go Cubs!

Just going to register that I am very wary about any innings Shota pitches today.  Really wish they'd just hold him until NLCS (if we win).

Feel free to quote if Shota shoves

I would guess you are r the only one with these feelings. But the truth is ther really isn’t anyone who can pitch today that I am really comfortable with. No matter who Counsell puts in, if he fails there will be people complaining about the choice he made. Honestly, there aren’t great choices. Just have to hope whoever he pitches can get 3 outs before allowing a run.

I'm in the same boat. I really don't want to see him pitch today.

His stuff is still good. He just needs to locate it. I doubt anyone is tabbed for more than six outs tonight, so he doesn't have to be perfect for 6 innings, just good enough for six outs or less if called upon. I've got confidence in most anyone in the amount of time they'll be tasked for. at least on paper.

Just have to hope the offense does more than enough so it doesn’t matter

The cubs have undoubtedly had a good season to date but all this glazing at this exact moment feels like loser talk. Go beat down the little brother tonight and then we can memorialize the season before we deal with the dodgers

Megill throws fastball-curve.

Busch has a .500 SLG against curves and a +14 RV on fastballs, tied for 14th in the league. I don't hate the Megill vs Busch matchup.

TruTV? I don't think that I've ever had a television on this channel. They put wrestling on TnT. That's how far baseball has fallen.
