I missed a good chunk of yesterdays game.  Jesus people, see the bigger picture.

I would have booed him for not running hard to first. They bobbled the ball and he could've made it a close play

Can they make it 8 straight games scoring 4 or less runs?

Have faith brother.  Of course they can.

Yep, that's the 2nd time in 2 days he's done that.  Regardless of the slump, and probably especially because of it, you can't leave that meat on the bone for fans who are already understandably frustrated with your performance.

lol I say look at the bigger picture and you want to boo him for a single play.  Cool.

When he signs with another team for big money next year and gets back to playing like we know he can, you and the folks that were booing can feel real good about yourselves.

Yeah, he's officially in the "pouty and petulant and feeling sad for himself" phase of the slump, where not only is he not hitting, but he's dogging it on the base paths. I understand this is hard for him, but you're just asking to be booed

Well, I didn't boo him, since I'm not there, but sure, it'll be my fault. Good talk

EXACTLY! People in this chat (many, not all) coddle that guy and act like he’s irreplaceable or the savior of this franchise. He’s slumping and playing trash lately, which happens to nearly all ball players, but the lack of hustle and “woe is me” half assing things is for the bush league.
I’m a Cubs fan that lives out near Philly - that guy wouldn’t last a friggin day with their crowd or NY teams playing like he is. Coddling him won’t help - if that’s why he walks - see ya 👋 “King Tuck”

He is a great ball player going through some rough times, but when you’re not prouducing - fans get impatient. Part of the sport.

He should run his happy ass hard to first if he doesn't want to be booed.  And any player worth his salt isn't going to be mad about the booing in a situation like that because he knows he deserves it.  If you think that guy's feelings are so fragile that a little booing is going to chase him away if the Cubs offer the best deal you don't understand how athlete's brains work.

If Kyle has a presser in February saying "I signed with the Yankees because some fans made my fee-fees hurt one day in August", then I'll take all the blame

If Tucker turns away from Chicago due to fans booing when he’s playing like trash, he would not last a day in Philly, or any of the NY teams.

The guy with that comment coddles old Tucker too much. Play to your level and figure it out
