Seattle got Suraez. Ready to see the return

Tyler Locklear and two pitching prospects are going back to Arizona in the Eugenio Suárez trade, according to a source

If Sloan was one of the two pitchers,  that's a pretty big get for a rental.

Locklear apparently made some big swing changes recently. His EV has jumped like 5+mph. Good chance he's better than rankings as well.

Looks like Arizona did well

Ok I need something official because if it's the package some people are running with then thank you Jed for saying  hell no

Seems light?

Yeah that was not what I was seeing, but that's honestly not a bad return for a rental bat. It was never realistic that he'd bring a top 50 guy.

Locklear is raking and is better than those rankings indicate. He could be Arizona's first baseman now.

What would our version of this trade look like? Alcantara, Neely and Sanders or Birdsell?

I'd think Long more than Alcantara

Mariners have 8 prospects in the top 70 according to MLB pipeline.  Locklear is their #9 prospect.

Really wanted Bieber. Love the potential playoff upside.

Yeah the idea of Bieber was nice.

Jays basically traded their version of Wiggins for him though. Not sure I liked Bieber that much.

Miller and Sears to SD. Whoa.

Sacramento got Leo DeVries in the deal. That's a huge get for them.
