I mean, that's a lazy fly ball that just happened to land in those stupid Crawford boxes. Let's hope we can get a guy or two on and loft one up there

If there’s a lefty pitching for the opposing team that’s probably not happening

Of course the Rockies down score with a runner on 3rd and 1 out but the Brewers do the next inning. Are we gonna be down to 1 game lead (and 2.5 over STL)?

Craig Counsell’s pitching management strike again!

This sounds like a results bias statement. Jamo handled Altuve twice. He should be able to throw 105-110 pitches. Has he gone to the pen at 94 pitches and the pen game up a run I am sure people would have said why not leave Jamo in?

You give him 1 baserunner and dont press your luck and I mentioned that before the HR.

“Should” and “can” are completely different. He’s been incredibly inefficient today and has been bad in his last 2 starts. He competed great today, obviously, and worked out of jams. But you have fresh arms in the pen and an off day tomorrow. Just bad managing by Counsell.  Nothing on Taillon

Yes you did. That is why I didn’t quote you. That said, he did handle Altuve all game. And let’s be honest, he hit a fly ball to left that is caught in 29 of 30 parks. And while being honest, had the Cubs brought in a pen arm to start the inning, and he gave up a run, don’t you think people would have said they should have left Jamo in? Again, not you. You said it before the inning.
