PCA is in a bit of a slump. First time all year really.

He's trying to pull everything and is rolling over groundballs to the right side

Turner can't hit for crap but at least he also misses plays Busch makes all the time

He can't draw a walk to save his life.  That'll be his next thing to work on, to become a true MVP caliber player

It makes no sense that we're sticking with him.  Candelario has been terrible this year but he does have a .701 OPS this year against LHP and can play 3B and 1B better than Turner can.  Wouldn't cost much to scoop him up for a couple of weeks.

Can't believe people are criticizing Counsell for leaving Taillon in the game...

I'm not mad about him leaving Taillon in the game, even if he gave up that homer.

Yes you did. That is why I didn’t quote you. That said, he did handle Altuve all game. And let’s be honest, he hit a fly ball to left that is caught in 29 of 30 parks. And while being honest, had the Cubs brought in a pen arm to start the inning, and he gave up a run, don’t you think people would have said they should have left Jamo in? Again, not you. You said it before the inning.

Im sure we'd be reading complaints had a pen arm gave up the runs.

Just saying CC and Hottovy should of had that planned ahead of time with him already in the 90s pitches.  no matter who was up which was actually Paredes after a leadoff single.

Ok, he pressed it and let him get Paredes and he flied out to RF, but then he hit the press your luck button again with Meyers and got lucky again, doing it a third time, he was just asking for that Whammy 😅

Wait a second, they’re bringing in a righty to face Turner with Busch on the bench??

he might be tiring but that makes no sense.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a base hit quite like that before.

The air equivalent of a squibber ground ball. Definitely an unusual play.

Hasn’t gotten under a pitch since Wednesday it seems like.

Ok, here we go, got a break with Nico ball, let cash in.

Here's the difference, Astros manager not pressing his luck here and pulling Valdez and hes been dominating today.

This is where having exclusively terrible hitters at the bottom of the order really bites a team
