Dansby actually was hitting when he was in the 8 hole earlier this year. If Suarez’s MRI comes back clean he needs to be top priority and then get another starter. I dont like Kelly or Gallen that much but if Sale or Alcantara arent available right now, you might not have a better option.

Yeah ,, I think it’s time to forget about splitting the lefties at the middle of the order . Swanson needs to hit 8th and stay there .  
 

You can afford to get cute when you have good options to do it . Cubs don’t have those .

Dbacks aren’t selling . That offense is too good to give up . They will probably add a couple of relievers . Suarez ain’t happening .

Trying to think which was better:

-PCA forgetting how many outs leading to the winning run scoring

-Giving up 3 more 2 run HRs

-Not scoring on 1st and 3rd with 1 out down 1 in the 7th with PCA up

-Dansby not able to come through with the tying and go ahead runs in scoring position

-Wasting an actual Nico HR
