Thanks to Jed sticking to his guns for both Tailion and Brown for too long and too many losses gonna be 2.5 up now when it should be a much larger gap. Anybody who says Jameson is good must enjoy mediocrity.

I would've been satisfied with a split so winning the next 2 still makes this at least OK for me, but Boyd and Shota will need to step up to make that happen.

This was all part of the plan to save the pen and tire out the Cardinals position players running the bases for Thursdays matchup and maybe salvage a game.

If the pitching doesn’t get it together Jed is going to have to overpay to improve the rotation. I’m sure potential sellers are loving this, especially knowing Jed is still on a 1 year contract

I thought about that too. But you might lose PCA by doing that. He made a mistake. He didn’t not hustle on a play. He just messed up in a long inning. So you don’t do it to him.

You're right, I will say that guy has little chance of beating the Cubs in the future,  Just doesn't have anything over powering and has to count on at-em balls.  The low slow stuff is tailor made for the Cubs to crush.
