A) They have an OT they like that they are hoping will be available at 10. Braxton is going to get paid next year, and more than likely not by the Bears. With the money they forked out this winter to secure the interior line, they probably need a guy who can challenge/beat out Braxton at LT and then be ready to take over in 2026. Getting a 5th year option rookie at LT would be ideal. Chances are good they won't be picking this high again for awhile.

B) They go BPA of the skill position players (one that slips down to 10) because they feel there is a LT possibility in the second round that is better than a JAG.

C) One of the premium talents in the top 5-6 slides to 10 and they grab him.

D) Trade down because the offer is too good to pass up.

To me, you have to get a starting caliber LT in this draft.

Point C

If Tetairoa McMillan is there and Campbell and Membou are gone would you consider taking him? WR is pretty meh after Rome and Moore. I agree that LT would be ideal, just curious about opinions on McMillan

Seeing Mason Graham drop to and past the Bears in a few mocks recently, no idea why that would happen, but I'd be super unhappy if he made it to the Bears and they passed.

Jeanty on DraftKings is -175 now to go to the Bears.  If betting markets matter

I just can't see Jeanty making it to the Bears unless they trade up and I'm not a big fan of that.

I support a trade up for Jeanty so I can watch some nerds go at it arguing if the trade value was worse or drafting a RB.

I want the chaos. Bring me the chaos of this happening.

Reddit will be amazing no matter what happens

Here is what I think right now, in order of confidence (most to least):

1. Ward will go #1

2. Hunter and Carter will go 2-3 in some order.

3. Jeanty is the 3rd best player in this draft, and he is option 1 if he makes it to 10.

4. If Jeanty is gone, as long as one of Graham, Walker, Campbell, Membou or Warren makes it to 10, the Bears will pick them.

5. If picks 4-9 are all those players, the Bears will trade down.

I said it before, but I don't think Jeanty makes it past the Raiders and maybe not the Giants or Pats.

Yeah he won't make it to ten

If McMillan is there, someone will trade up for him.

I just saw a mock where Graham fell to 11 because of a huge push for OLine. Doubt the Bears would pass on Graham. That mock had them taking Warren.

It could be a fun draft. Or it might suck.

The best case scenario for the Bears (as unlikely as it is), is for at least 2 QBs to go ahead of them. I don't think any QB other than Ward is worth a Top 10 pick, but if someone is desperate enough, it could work out very nicely.

I'm personally rooting for Graham, but we shall see.

This. We need to hope some team gents infatuated with a need to fill a QB and grabs Sanders in the top 9. If that happens, there will almost certainly be a very exciting player for the Bears to take at 10.

I can see Sanders dropping because he's going to be a pain in the ass to sign. There seem to be indications that he (or dad) see this draft like its free agency and THEY get to choose what team they'll go to. A lot of teams may not want the headache

If they trade up and get Abdul Carter, great. If they move up for Jeanty, I am going to be disappointed

Why would you be disappointed in getting Jeanty into a Ben Johnson offense?

Id be upset for about 3 minutes that we gave up (likely) a high 2nd to move up for a RB. And then after that I’d spend the next 4 months dreaming about how awesome our offensive is going to be.

I just think it would be a poor use of draft picks when this team has more needs than just a RB, even though I expect Jeanty to be a very good pro RB. I think a trade up would result in the Bears being able to draft one less starting quality player in this draft

All the people who will bitch if Jeanty is the pick after moving up will be eating crow week whatever vs the Packers when he takes one to the house 90 yards.

I'm just not sold on Jeanty when compared to the other RBs in this draft. I think he could be a good starter and a reliable RB, and he would be a decent pick at 10, but trading assets to get him when this team needs depth would feel deflating.

Just don't see Poles trading up, there's a plethora of good RB's after Jeanty, one of them will be there later in the first, day two, heck, even day three.  There's no need to spend assets to move up.

This. If he is there at 10, great. But I don’t want him if the Bears lose a 2nd rd pick to switch spots in rd one and get him.

Sadly, I very much can see Poles doing this.
