Some leaks are true. Some are put out by agents to create leverage. It's impossible to tell which is which until after the fact.

The Falcons had several months to get that done.  Now, all of sudden, an hour or so before FA is set to begin they're attempting to lock him up?  Right.

They did just free up $16 million by cutting Grady Jarrett this morning. Maybe for a last ditch Dalman push?

Ian Rappaport seems to be doing his best to make Bluesky work.  Matt Miller (draft guy) appears to be sitting next to Adam Schefter and passing things along as well.

How is the Bears depth at OL?  I know Jenkins is pretty much gone but not sure who else is under contract for next year outside of Amegadjie and I think I saw Bill Murray signed.

I'm certain they'll draft an OL as well.  They've signed Dalman, line is looking solid, if Jeanty' gone at 10 and they don't want to reach for, say, Hampton, that doesn't preclude from taking, if available, Campbell, Banks Jr. or Membou.

I do like that they've addressed line issues before the draft this year, so the draft strategy can migrate from "have to draft like 6 linemen in 7 picks to make anything work" to "just draft the best player available and try to get a major impact player at 10".

Still bitter at Poles for flushing 2024 away by his indifference toward FA in 2022 and 2023. There were building blocks to be had and Caleb could have been better set up for rookie success.
