That's gotta be the worst feeling when you realize the ball got under your glove and you're now chasing it knowing you probably just allowed at least 2 runs to score.

Man he has looked awesome at the plate these 4 games. That was fun

Morel might end up being a very good hitter. Maybe instead of the regression so many hinted at this off season, he actually gets better. Sure looks solid to me.

Let's pray his D doesn't play with head during plate appearances

Shota is hella fun to watch. Looks like the Cubs struck gold out of Japan these last couple of years. Time to get Sasaki next.

The weather obviously impacts things, but this was the best Cubs pitching debut since what, Matt Garza?

Cole Hamels and Jose Quintana both were pretty great in their first Cubs starts

Can we start from the second hitter of Wicks' debut?

Good call.  Quintana was a monster in his debut.

Smyly up in the bullpen?  I assumed when Brown made his debut out of the bullpen Smyly was taking Steele's vacated spot in the rotation

Harden was also really strong: 5.1 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 10/3 K/BB

I thought of him too, though he was not since Garza

Gotta be a piggyback/bullpen game for when/if game 3 happens.  Maybe a calculated gamble that it won't happen this week.

Of they play Wednesday I am assuming bullpen day. If the last gsme ends up Thursday I think it will be Brown.

I think I heard that it was Brown day to pitch so he is still in line...
