Few years from now bowls will be a thing of the past and college football as we know it will not exist. There will a four or eight divisions for the big boys and the regional universities will be in a separate league of their own.

This has been said every year since the BCS started.

If you can’t see how this is trending, I don’t know what to tell you.

I might agree that we’re heading towards an A-division that’s just the SEC and Big Ten, but I don’t think that means bowl games are going away. They make too much money to just disappear for reasons.

Michigan better get its head out of its ass realllll quick

After that reversed INT to start the game, they’ve outplayed BAMA.  Milroe has not been all that impressive as a thrower this season, and if they fall behind, I have trouble seeing how that can catch up with him at QB.

Awesome defensive struggle.  I know most people are probably bored but I like seeing a game like this every once in awhile.  Especially when you know it’s top teams, so the defenses are stopping good offenses

Obviously I think most people would prefer it to be 34-31 right now but any sort of close game is fine by me. We've had too many blowouts over the years in these semifinal games for me to be too picky.

I love CFB overtime

until it gets to the 2 pt conversion shootout, at least in this scenario... That's not bad in the regular season, but would feel weird if it goes to that to decide a trip to the title game

Great game. Though Michigan was done when they recovered that fumble, missed the FG and then Bama went up 7. Just didn’t think their offense would move it down the field for a TD.

I probably should've put some money down on Michigan when I called them winning the title in mid October

So if Texas were to win the NC I believe that would make them the first team to beat all the other participants in the four team playoff era.
