If Iowa, Alabama, Louisville, Oregon, and OK state all upset chaos will reign.

would it be:

Oregon, Alabama, OSU, and ???? Georgia/Michigan/FSU

Under that scenario Bama and Oregon are definitely in and two of UGA/Michigan/Washington are in. My gut says the first two of them, but the Huskies would have a resume case against either.

Isn't Oregon a 10 pt favorite

Iowa’s team total for the game is 6.5. I get it but it’s still hilarious to see.

You can find separate over/unders for Iowa points in each half at 0.5. It's incredible.

That’s the same as the line would be for a top FBS team playing any FCS team.

Washington barely avoids chaos, and Texas is keeping things chalk as well

At this point, I don't want Alabama to win because horsefeathers that school

Chalk is better than a scenario that backdoors Ohio State or Bama into the playoff

I want Florida State to lose, beyond that chalk is good with me too.

I've never seen a quarterback throw off his back foot more than Michael Penix

Yeah, I'm not at all interested in Penix in the draft. There's at least 5 QBs I'd have in front of him, possibly 6.

I swear I didn't see him step into a single throw all game

Been a pretty good game. Georgia burned about a minute there not being able to pick up a first down with less than a yard to go on 3 different occasions on that drive. Had to burn a timeout before the 4th down play too.

What a game.  And if the dogs don’t come back it will mean chaos for the selection committee.

So I thought there’s no way I would ever root for Saban.  I’m pretty close right now.

Easy call for me but I seem to be in the minority in that thinking.

From pure entertainment I hope FSU loses because I don’t think they’ll be as good without their QB. But if they win they should get in.

We are down to 2 relevant games remaining in the college football regular season and only 1 team can be considered a lock for the CFP. And that team was a double digit underdog in their conference championship game.

predictions:

UM, FSU win - 1 Michigan, 2 Washington, 3 FSU, 4 Texas

UM wins, FSU loses - 1 Michigan, 2 Washington, 3 Texas, 4 Alabama

UM loses, FSU wins - 1 Washington, 2 FSU, 3 Texas, 4 Alabama

UM loses, FSU loses - 1 Washington, 2 Texas, 3 Alabama, 4 Georgia

Obviously I’m not certain about any of this but I think it all feels logical. Georgia as a 12-1 non-conference champion should be in over Michigan if they started the week 1 and 2 and Georgia had a better loss.

Michigan will win.

If FSU wins then it’s Mich, Was, FSU, and Texas.

No SEC.  To me that’s incredible.  Everyone should know that the SEC teams are likely better than FSU and Texas at least.

This could be 2000 all over again.  Florida State finished #2 with 1 loss to #3 Miami, and Miami finished #3 with 1 loss to #4 Washington who had 1 loss.

Would only be two teams in this case though. For the above to be the case the committee would have to rank Georgia over Bama which is never going to happen.

It really is. Especially since it was just two years ago that 11-1 Bama beat 12-0 Georgia and they both made the playoff.
