Lets just call the rumor out in the open.  There are multiple sketchy twitter reporters claiming that Alan Williams house was raided and Halas Hall was raided this morning in an FBI investigation.  The internet is running with it but I've never heard of the twitter people who tweeted this out so its probably fake.   It got picked up by enough people that other people on twitter are talking about it as fact but as far as I can tell its only those 2 randos that reported it.  I would assume that unless it was raided at like 3am or something there would be some mainstream reporters aware of this already.

There I saved the 7 people that read this thread some time.

This guy is legit enough that I'll at least say it. That's the rumor I keep seeing independently: that Williams is under FBI investigation for child porn.

If true, I don't blame the Bears for not wanting say anything, the press is taking them to task because of their silence.  Think the press will feel like a bunch of dickheads when they find out?  Probably not.

I think his head is spinning. I think he sees his NFL dream flashing before his eyes and is trying to make sense of all of it, trying to hold on. The holes in his game are clear and the are out in front for everyone to see, but Getsy was always pushing an offense not suited for his skill set. I think thats whats happening, his stream of consciousness is meeting reality, and hes getting caught off guard every step of the way. I hate seeing this. Maybe it changes him for the better and he turns stuff around

Why should they feel like dickheads for asking a perfectly reasonable question. Just because it may be a heinous situation that is no reason for anybody in the press to not ask the question.
