I don't think there's a lot of upside in communicating some super aggressive timeline. Going to need at least a few games in the minors just to get used to the mental aspect of that, with time off in between. Think three weeks is on the high end.

He has been throwing bullpens but not facing real hitters. He's probably at somewhere around where guys are typically at on March 1st. Figure another week to get him into a real minor league game, and then you probably want him to have at least a half dozen games in the minors, which is another ~2 weeks.

Give the Joe Rogan podcast a listen to/watch on YouTube with Uncle Ted. Maybe it's because he knows Rogan could kick his ass but he actually tones it down a lot and then begins to agree with Rogan on some things. He even admitted his son is a vegan and says his son also smokes pot in the interview.

 

Sometimes I think a lot of the horsefeathers Ted does is an act. He's no doubt not all there but I do think he takes joy in riling himself up.
