  1. Best twitter account on the planet.
  2. Who is more popular in Colorado than Arenado? Or did you read that wrong? Yeah, read it wrong sorry - though that referred to Bryant. That said, there’s absolutely no way Arenado is the most popular Rockie ever. Not even close.
  3. He's not even arguably the most popular player on the current roster.
  4. I can't imagine the Cubs bite on this without Arenado waiving or amending some of his opt-out flexibility. If he wants out of CO badly enough that's something he should be willing to do.
  5. Occam’s Razor would imply that if we think the FO is sharp, if they did do that trade either: 1. They don’t think Nolan is just slightly better moving forward 2. It’s not such a big contract after the Rockies throw in cash Certainly 2 is part of the equation if it happens. But there's also cost certainty beyond 2021 and getting under the cap this season and resetting the penalties for PTR. There's also the fact that (as usual) people are undervaluing defense. Bryant has slipped to (maybe) average at 3B - Arenado is historically great.
  6. I don't think what the Cubs did - or didn't - was much relevant to who wins the World Series.
  7. I'd certainly push the Padres for a "best and final offer" before trading Bryant anywhere else.
  8. Not factoring in the draw that Kipnis is a nice Jewish boy from Northbrook, he's actually not a bad hitter if you strictly platoon him. My bigger concern is that his defense has declined as you would have expected for a MIF approaching his mid-30's, and he's a liability with the globe at this point. And his bat, even against righties, isn't good enough to compensate.
  9. I think your 5% is extremely generous. There may be a 5% chance a trade to the Braves happens, but that doesn't mean this scammer had any inside knowledge of it. Unless the source has whiskers and uses the litter box, I ain't buying it.
  10. I’m not sure outside the Cubble that two years of KB is worth much more than 1 of Betts. Mookie is a much better player.
  11. Whoever loses the Mookie sweepstakes may be the only possible market for Bryant.
  12. I do think the Reds are quite there m personally.
  13. Or any other season. Only the sort of move you make if you've basically given up. Not a good baseball player and has the same flaws our roster was already riddled with.
  14. Theo seems to be on a mission to improve baseballreference’s traffic.
