horsefeathers that

Why? Foles or Keenum vs Brady is gonna be one hell of a Super Bowl, isn’t it?

horsefeathers that

Jacksonville has a shot. Not sure why they are +9

Vikings -3.5 on the road

Vikings could also be first team to play a SB in home stadium

I’m actually surprised that’s not double digits. Pats were -13.5 vs the Titans. I do agree there’s a scenario with the Jags pass rush/defense and running game that they keep it close or even win but that’s a narrow margin. I think the Pats by double digits is far more likely.

A Brees and Brady Super Bowl would have been a cool storyline.

By a cool storyline I'm sure you meant our only chance for a competitive Super Bowl. New England will probably sleepwalk through the easiest QB schedule in playoffs history now.

But, if the price was that Minnesota moment, I guess I'll take it, because that was cool.

Perfect example of the horrible form of launching yourself instead of making a tackle. Every time somebody asks "what was he supposed to do" to avoid a penalty, it's this arms down head first nonsense. Don't do that.

Hopefully we never see a play like that again, but unfortunately, it's just wishful thinking. Just like the Telvin Smith taunting play as he ran back his fumble recovery for a touchdown. The game isn't over. Save it for after the game if you feel the need.

I’m totally cool with it. And if you saw my FB feed of all my friends back there bleeding purple, you would be too. What a play

I Really don't think the DB tried to launch himself. I think the pass floated and the DB thought he might get there too early causing a PI. Game can't end on a defensive penalty, and that would've put the Vikings in FG range with one play remaining and no time on the clock. I think the DB pulled up trying to avoid making early contact. Unfortunately, he took out the other defender - ball game.

He just dove at Diggs instead of trying to tackle him- and whiffed. A PI penalty would have been a much wiser choice. In other words, I don’t think he was thinking that clearly on trying to avoid the PI, he just blew the tackle

Vikings probably win if there’s a PI so that’s probably what happened. So cautious though that he whiffed.

there were several replays that made me believe he was trying to avoid a PI and not that he whiffed on an easy hit

The hell you say. That was the worst football moment of my life. Worse that the Marshawn Lynch run in Seattle, worse than the missed PAT in the last game of the season in 2003. I woke up in the middle of the night a few times and remembered that it was a real thing that happened. Physically ill.

yea, in fact, in his own words he was concerned about the PI, but he absolutely wiffed the tackle.

If you’re worried about the PI, just ease up a bit and make the tackle. Even if he gets out of bounds, you were looking at a 50 yard field goal. That’s obviously makeable, but its not a chip shot.

I feel like that’s the point though he was trying to make the tackle, its that he just dove at Diggs feet thinking it was a safer tackle to make. And then he whiffed it because Diggs was somehow channeling Michael Jordan and floating in the air for like seven years

Be a dick, lose like a dick Sean Payton Photographed Mocking Vikings' 'Skol' Chant Before Stefon Diggs' TD - Bleacher Reporthttps://apple.news/AAvTDUrN-SEKHeK58VqVG8A

I don't know what the skol chant is and I think Vikings fans should be mocked for it

I always just assumed it was for their love of chewing tobacco
