I don’t know if it’s because the Bears have been so irrelevant for so long or because I don’t get as amped up about rivalries as I get older (with the exception of arch rivals) but I can’t say I’m rooting against the Vikings making it to the Super Bowl. Think it would be cool to see them make it with everything they’ve gone through with QBs the last couple of years.

 

The last time they were a serious contender with Favre in the NFC title game I was very very against them but I just don’t feel the hate right now.

The punter is typically the backup/emergency FG kicker so I’d assume most FG kickers are the backup/emergency punters.

I feel the same as a Packer fan. I hated them with Moss. Hated them with Favre but I don’t find them unlikeable. My mom is a Viking fan too and long title draughts ending are fun. I’m not exactly pulling for the Vikes but I don’t really care if they win

I’m pretty sure in the few rare situations I’ve seen similar irrelevant end of game XPs, they have decided to kick the XP but this time with the fate of the bettors on the line they take a knee.

I'm pretty sure this is the third time this season that a team has taken a knee. The Chiefs did it against the Redskins, and then the Eagles did it against the Raiders. It's definitely becoming more common for teams to do that.

It’s only recent the defense could get 2 points in the nfl though it wouldn’t have mattered.
