I wasn't nervous the whole game. Part of it was because of getting the early lead, I'm sure. But this game felt different. I've been a nervous wreck this whole month. But the last two days, I've been really chill. There was just a calm, easy feeling, as if this outcome was predetermined.

something about the last 2 beatdowns of LA in LA made me supremely confident we were going to win this easily.

 

I guess we finished with 3 consecutive beatdowns of LA.

 

I can't imagine this team losing to Cleveland. Nothing can stop this train.

Thanks, everyone, for being my Cubs family for the last 13 years. My grandmother was the only other real Cubs fan I knew and she passed away last winter. Thought about her a lot tonight. What a ride it's been and the best is yet to come. Hope to finally meet some of you next weekend.
