This is now my biggest regret for moving out of the Chicago area, that I wasn't around for the end of this, even though I was in town during games 4 and 5. Still, kind of crazy to see Omaha sports getting lines before the stores even got the merchandise, then selling nearly everything within hours of getting it in.

WGN apparently can't wait for bus 19 to arrive so they can see Dan Roan again.

I just got home from work, and my playlist just now brought up the Blackhawks 2010 cup run highlights, and I thought that when the Cubs had that great 9th inning comeback against the Giants, how similar it was in improbability to the Hawks game 5 win against the Predators, when Hossa took a major penalty late in the 3rd while trailing by 1, Kane scored a shorthanded goal to tie it and Hossa scored the OT game winner after coming out of the box, and they went on to erase their history of futility, creating a dynasty as well. I for one hope history repeats itself.

OMG, game 7 of the World Series for us, biggest baseball game of all time, I hope we win big so I won't need a fingernail transplant, just a liver one.

These game threads I've been lurking through for years, riding the roller coasters with you all and tonight is just too much, I love this team so much, I too am bawling. Keep the pics and videos coming, I may not live in the Chicago area anymore, but it'll always be home to me.

Was driving into town for an event on Sunday from Omaha, and may be looking for somewhere to hang out Saturday night.
