I know there's still work to be done but can you guys taste the World Series? Because I sure as hell can. The next two days are going to be a bunch of [expletive] from the media. 1908 this, 71 years since a pennant that, 2003 this, 1984 that. And I'm sure Fox already has a wonderful video compilation of Bartman ready to go. Most of that horsefeathers ends on Saturday (1908 will have to wait a week or so). This is happening. Clayton Kershaw, you're on notice.

CUBS are 109-61-1 when they play a baseball game

CUBS are 6-3 in the playoffs

CUBS are 60-25 at home

CUBS are 19-11 when Hendricks starts

CUBS are 7-5 against the Dodgers

Go CUBS!!

I believe in hot streaks, I believe in slumps, I believe in some guys can't perform in the postseason and most importantly I believe in bad backs. Kershaw is giving up 6 runs and out of this game by the 4th inning because he's a gutless choking dog.

Hallelujah and holy horsefeathers. See you guys in the World Series

Im predicting a huge KB game & Bullpen of Doom comes to fruition to send us to the [expletive] World Series!!!

To add on i deliciously await a Cubs 4 to 1 lead being handed to Chapman where Buck insists they have to be confident against Aroldis because of game 5.

Followed by Chap quickly letting LAl know 96 & 97mph in game 5 was just a mere bullpen session & he shoves 102, 103, 104 bullets past them all striking out the side & Wrigley goes nutsss!

I want everybody to take a look at our path to the World Series.

- To get through the Wild Card round we won the most games in baseball this season.

- To get through the NLDS we had to beat a historic franchise and one of the greatest postseason pitchers of our generation.

- To get through the NLCS we will have to beat a historic franchise with the greatest pitcher of our generation.

- To win the WS we will have to go through yet another historic franchise in the Cleveland Indians, who last won the WS in 1948. That was the year they signed a 42 year old rookie known as Satchel Paige.

This is the kind of horsefeathers you have to go through if you want to kick history right in the teeth. This is the stuff of Disney stories.

Kershaw, you're on notice.

Go CUBS!!

The Cubs are also 0-6 when they're one win away from the World Series since 1984 and I'm watching the game from home. I'm flying in Saturday morning from Germany to catch game 6 in person. Surely that has to be the difference-maker, right?

Gotta say I'm shocked Sammy isn't on that list.

And what the horsefeathers is a frank demaree?

For all of us here, I surely hope so.

Sammy's one of the losers I referenced at the bottom of the list with 2. By 2020, I suspect Eloy will join 14 other guys from this era as the only ones with at least 5.

And Frank Demaree is better known as "the guy who is going to be sitting by himself in 10th place on this list by the end of next week."

I don't believe people are owed anything in life, but I do believe people are given opportunities to take advantage of. This is one of those opportunities for us. Don't horsefeathers up, you jerks.
