    Sounds like I hit too close to home with some of you. The self righteousness is so over the top it's ridiculous. I really think half of you (the half that think Rizzo is a fair target here) don't understand the difference between thinking like a critic and thinking critically.

    This is one of the most terrible threads I've ever read. First off, screw Addison for being worse than the soap scum on Yadi Molina's shower shoes. If that wasn't bad enough, now we're criticizing Rizzo for not making strong enough of a public display? I don't think you can get any more self righteous than to criticize Rizzo for not waging an all out SJW war against a guy who he doesn't know if he's going to ever be back in the clubhouse with him or not. Ducking ludicrous.

    I wonder if any White Sox fans are looking over at the Mets rotation with DeGrom, Thor, Matz, and Harvey in 2015 and starting to feel a little less comfortable about the future. Or heck, our 2003 rotation with Prior, Wood, Zambrano and Clement.

    I know everyone is more encouraged by the offense right now, but outside of Q, the starting pitching is starting to come together. Hamels has been amazing, Lester looks like he's over whatever was plaguing him after the ASB, and Hendricks has found his groove. Just need to figure out a reliable #4 before the post season, hopefully Monty comes back and pitches like when he first took Yu's spot.

    So am I reading this right that we may also be sending cash back to them? I keep seeing that it's Murphy for Monasterio and cash or ptbnl. How does this impact us staying under the cap for the year?

    I would assume that if the Brewers claimed him, they'd offer next to nothing in return and hope the Nats pull him back. The claim would be purely to prevent anyone else from being able to claim him.

    I really wouldn't be upset if they released Kintzler. He's terrible. Give him to the Brewers or Dodgers. He'll help us by hurting them.

    His offensive profile is kinda Almoraish Yeah, but there is just something about Bader that the Cardinal fans like more than Almora. Does Bader like to drink and drive or beat his wife too?

    That definitely makes for a funny stat. Our starting pitching is our biggest concern, and we're tied for MLB lead in shutouts. Just another reason why we all love baseball.
