I was just wondering about that... Has anyone else ever had their final career plate appearance be a WS game 7 home run? I'm thinking Ross is probably the only one... AB, not PA (he walked) Good catch... That's what I meant. I can't think of anyone that has.

We're 7 hours ahead of y'all over here... woke up at 1230 to watch the game, game finished around 6 am. Watched the party and aftermath on TV, then went to work. There's not enough coffee to keep me going after that emotional roller coaster in the middle of the night. And horsefeathers it, I want to do it again next year!

All seeing, all knowing Francona overused him earlier in the playoffs. He overused them... But would they even have gotten this far if he hadn't? They lack depth in both the pen and rotation.

We lost the Bumgarner game (in the 13th), but that was after limiting him to 5 innings. Either way, we've beaten each team by knocking an ace out of the game early. We've had two good looks against Kluber, who is going on short rest again. I wouldn't have us breaking this drought any other way other than against the other teams best!

I understand the suck. I'm in Germany, game starts at 1 am here. So I'm going to try to leave work early, get to bed early, wake up at 1 am, watch the game, then survive on coffee the rest of the day. Luckily, my boss is a Red Sox fan, so he understands.
