13-14 year old me loved this band, to the point where I probably saw them about a dozen times at HOB...this was a couple years before this album came out.

Fast forward to last year, my Dad starts a new job at TD Ameritrade (of all places) helping investors with legal questions, and I'm on the phone with him one night last summer he said that weekend he's planning on going to Naperville Fest (or something similar) to see his co-workers band. I looked up the schedule, and yep...Lucky Boys Confusion. Turns out being a lead singer for a crappy pop punk band for 20 years doesn't get you out of having to work a 9-5 for the Ricketts.

Apparently some games were already played? I had no idea.

I was very confused by the whole thing. None of the apps made note of it being a regular season game, its just next to all the spring training games. I get the reasoning and know this isn't that unique, but 2 weeks before everybody else starts is new, no?

I feel like this has happened before, like within the last 5 or 6 years. It's more like a week before, right?

i still remember staying up all night on a school night to watch the horsefeathering 2000 cubs play in japan (either i was too excited or i didn't trust myself to wake up at 4 am or whatever) on two straight nights

i think the horsefeathering agbayani game ended while i was in homeroom and was listening on the radio

I’m in mid season form. I already don’t care when they play.

30 is fine for a pitcher of his caliber and health to hit FA, hopefully he stays healthy

$10M AAV at his age, and after the year he just had? Wow...
