I'd love to see MLB teams in Nashville and Charlotte. It'd be even more horsefeathers to do while I'm there.

Not sure if the Orioles thing will pan out, but I think it’s a foregone conclusion that the Rays and Marlins have to relocate. Charlotte and Nashville would be two good markets for them and it wouldn’t upset the divisional alignment.

The Marlins moving just a few years after the city built them a new stadium would be the most Marlins thing ever

It would also shrink the Cardinals' market, so all the better.

I'd usually agree but MLB absolutely hates Angelos and I think they do anything they can to pry the team from him. MLB/Nats have been in a legal battle for the last couple years with the Orioles over the % shares from the MASN contract.

Pretty sure the Braves would fight that tooth and nail, even more so since their new ballpark is practically halfway to Charlotte.

Bill Walton is calling the White Sox game tonight while Steve Stone is out? Is this for real?

It's real. They basically asked Benetti who he'd like to work with and he suggested Walton.

Tatis Jr. out for remainder of season with back injury. Guess if there was ever any doubt who ROY would be in the NL, that definitely seals the deal for Alonso.

I can't make another bench roster move in the HR Derby for like 3 more weeks because I just made one. RIP my team.

There’s not much that could make me more of a Cubs super fan again than if Big Z returned.

It's awesome to see him still playing and having some life to his fastball still, but I looked up his numbers and he's got a 4.82 ERA, so... probably not gonna happen any time soon if he can't keep indie league hitters at bay.

Fun fact: all of the California teams are blacked out in Hawaii.

I'm a Cub fiend, but come on man. Just enjoy Hawaii and come back to the Cubs in a week or 5.

I'm not in Hawaii. My work has an office there and one of the guys who works there is a Cubs fan. He told me he was blacked out from watching this game. I looked on MLB's site and saw it was all the California teams.

I just sorted AL players by OPS (minimum 250 PA)

1. Yordan Alvarez

5. Alex Bregman

10. George Springer

11. Michael Brantley

16. Jose Altuve

17. Carlos Correa

21. Yuli Gurriel

I mean.......come on. Chirinos is not on that list and he's been worth 3.4 BWAR.

I said it at the time of the trade that if Eloy doesnt come out and hit like Nelson Cruz he will really suck. Just his rookie season at a young age but man he has been trash.
