That's still FDB facial hair. Nobody ever looks good with that [expletive] on their chin. Adding a soul patch just makes you look even more like a bad 90s something.

He's not going to look good regardless so who cares

dude wears like hanes XXXL t-shirts and shorts to work with 30 year old tube socks

Thank Christ for Frank Thomas having some [expletive] dignity and putting on some [expletive] pants.

Is it odd that there have been no reports confirming that Mel Tucker is fired? I mean I'm not worried about whether its going to happen, its just strange because his fellow coordinator got the public axe. I guess maybe it was a foregone conclusion so no need to report?

These radio guys are speculating that maybe the Kromer announcement was punishment from the team for being involved with the unraveling. They didn't announce Tucker but he will not be kept by any likely new head coach.

In other words, it is not odd. They fired the head coach and GM and the next GM/HC will make the decisions about the next staff.

When the new coach candidate comes in he'll be told Tucker comes with the package. Take it or leave it.

hahahaha, yes.

He's a really, really, really weird guy too. I can't listen to that show for more than 10 minutes before feeling like I need to switch the station.

As much of a douche as Hub usually is, he's been spot on with his thoughts on the whole situation today as far as I'm concerned.

George needlessly talking up Trestman and Emery, saying Halas Hall is a better place because of them. Ultimately we didnt win enough games. Time to move forward with new leadership.

Search for new GM and HC underway, talked to a bunch of people we respect, hired Ernie Accorsi as a consultant.

Accorsi is former GM of the NY Giants

Looks like nothing has changed with regards to Ted Phillips.

LOL they haven't fired Tucker.

nothing wrong with that.

emery/trestman/kromer took the fall for everything going horribly wrong.

the rest of the staff that still has a contract (only Cavanaugh does not) remain under contract but can look elsewhere if they want. Tucker is gone, but he's not being singled out.

Overall, just kinda bummed about Emery not working out, because he seemed to be a really smart guy that just made a lot of poor personnel and draft decisions.

I hate these outside consultants, probably won't be as disastrous as their previous GM search but disappointing they won't have a true FB guy at the top.

This is such a poorly run organization.

This is such a poorly run organization.

It's the effect of an ownership group that the sport has passed by, like the Blackhawks (and Cubs) of 10 years ago.

It's for that reason I'm somewhat relieved they will use a consultant because I don't feel confident in their ability to bring on the right front office on their own.
