Too risky to let Thibs go. I agree that in the long run I'd rather have Wiggins or Parker than Thibs, but there's pretty much no practical way to guarantee that would take place.

Pax and Gar need to tuck their tails between their legs, sit down with Thibs and make the peace.

Noah apparently had minor arthroscopic surgery on his left knee yesterday.

According to several sources, including a teammate, Noah’s All-Star Weekend “conversation’’ with New York Knicks standout Carmelo Anthony didn’t end in New Orleans. They had discussions via text the rest of the season, including the day after the Bulls were eliminated in the playoffs by the Washington Wizards.

“I was kidding Jo that they were boys now,’’ a source said in a phone interview Friday. “ ‘Well, get your boy to come to Chicago.’ ’’

Sources said Noah has been in Anthony’s ear as often as possible, and he has told other Bulls to push hard for Anthony this summer. But there is one condition: Backup big man Taj Gibson can’t be sacrificed.

A source said that decision is all but made. The Bulls are looking to rid themselves of Boozer’s $16.8 million cap hit for next season.

There were whispers that Rose had been making waves about no longer wanting to play with Boozer, but sources denied that.

Heh, so Rose may not be up for recruiting, but Jo seems perfectly willing. I'm ok with that.

Yup. Its not enough to just want to recruit, you need a personality that makes you effective in doing so. I respect the hell out of Rose, but he's lacking in the charisma department. Jo's cup runneth over.

Doesn't Taj almost have to be dealt to sign Melo? Especially if Mirotic is coming over.

Kerr picks Golden State over the Knicks. I'm hearing that Dolan didn't want to pay what Kerr demanded in salary. I wonder if it has anything to do with Carmelo possibly leaving.

Still have 2 perfect coaches with Knicks/Phil ties. Hoiberg and Mark Jackson. Knicks fans want Jackson anyway. Hoiberg is going nowhere just yet.

What ties does Hoiberg have anyway? Phil was in LA by the time Hoiberg came to the Bulls. Unless you count playing in a triangle offense under Cartwright as a Phil tie. My money is on Jackson.

Supposedly LeBron will boycott next year if Sterling isn't removed as owner. Looks like we may have a chance to win the East after all!

He's not boycotting so he ought to consider that before saying stupid stuff

Ha ha

How the hell do we know what Melo wants to hear? I'm just saying I'd rather have Noah reciting guys than Rose.

@TheBBRcom: Dr. Andrews: "teenagers who pitch more than 100 innings per calendar-year are 3x more likely to have surgery by age 20 than those who don't

@KCJHoop: Duke's Rodney Hood, who is meeting with Bulls Friday, said he looked up to Scottie Pippen and got excited seeing Pippen in attendance Thurs.

just watched the 30 for 30 on the Bad Boy Pistons. Man, that was a great story of how they pretty much made the 90's Bulls into what they eventually became. Isiah left off the Dream team because Jordan froze him out. he had to have thought that there would be repercussions for being a total ass to everyone all the time, right?

But to have Laettner instead is inexcusable.

Kevin Love not interested in resigning with Minnesota. Open to being traded to Warriors or BULLS.

Discuss.

I won't chime in until Ryan does. He keeps us Bulls fans grounded.

One, hasn't Love said both that he's definitely going to test FA no matter what and that his preferred team is the Lakers?

There's been rumors the Lakers will offer up their lotto pick for him, to get him now. Sure, we can beat the offer, but do you do it without a long term commitment from him? I don't. Go hard after Melo, use Taj if you have to. Boozer preferred obviously.

Rose at 18.8, Noah at 12.2......Amnesty Boozer, use Taj, Dunleavy, future picks to do S&T for Melo. Melo at 18 mill. Butler and Snell are 3.5. Use 1sts on rotation guys Leaves about 10 mill prior to minimum level signings. Get Pau and bring Mirotic over the following year.

C Noah some old vet

PF Gasol pick

SF Melo Snell

SG Butler pick

PG Rose Augustine

If the Lakers get a top 3 pick Tuesday I'd think that would allow them to enter the discussions
