Mostly that I think. He is a Rays scout. Not sure if area/local or whatever. And he has been right about a few things well in advance of our local media so that's where the followers probably built up from.

He was already a respected source when I started reading PSD a year or two ago, but in that time he's been very good at reporting which lower-tier FA pitchers the Cubs are in on long before anyone else had it.
