I like to think that the Fed Ex guy Ryan Braun dragged through the mud last year got to deliver Ryan Braun's suspension letter to him...

What I've read indicates this counts as two strikes. One more and he's banned.

 

And the suspension won't hurt the Brewers this year, but they're probably not going anywhere next year either, with or without Braun.

I was always under the impression that the MLB suspends players for a lump-sum amount of games (punishment fits the crime) like when Manny Ramirez was suspended for 100 games... If Manny got 100, why does Braun only get 63?

 

And I assumed teams were the only ones that suspended for the remainder of the season like when the Cubs suspended Milton Bradley.

Going from memory, so I could be mistaken, but Laurenzi got fired for making a tough call in a tough situation, a situation that seemingly wouldn't call for his firing if Braun hadn't excessively attacked his character. That Braun knew he was lying and continued to not only say the test was Laurenzi's fault, but to go to the lengths that he did to attack Laurenzi, is why everyone is pissed at Braun re: Laurenzi. I don't know if his life was "ruined" or what's become of him since last year, but that doesn't make Braun's behavior any less shameful, even moreso with the Biogenesis reveal.
