With Atlanta calling up Alex Wood, that makes five SEC pitchers from last year's draft already in the big leagues - reliever Paco Rodriguez (Florida/LA Dodgers), Michael Roth (South Carolina/LA Angels), Kevin Gausman (LSU/Baltimore), Michael Wacha (Texas A&M/St. Louis) and Wood (Georgia).

 

If I'm not mistaken, no other player from last year's draft has made it to the bigs yet.

Dodgers are promoting Yasiel Puig

 

Dodgers purchased the contract of OF Yasiel Puig from Double-A Chattanooga.

Puig should see regular starts in center field with Matt Kemp on the disabled list. The 22-year-old was batting .313/.383/.599 with eight home runs and 13 steals at the Double-A level. Puig won't be guaranteed a roster spot once Kemp returns, but is worth picking up in all fantasy leagues.
