I think this twitter crap is just because players just don't like cutler for whatever reason. But it is strange to see because if anyone would know what injuries can and can't be played on it's them.

Folks, pandoras box has been opened. This is definitely going to be a topic of discussion for the very near future. The loss was bad enough but the reaction of the fans is gonna make it worse.

I know.

I think I'll be avoiding the local radio shows for awhile.

Facebook is already bad enough.

Here are the tweets from other NFL players on Cutler's injury. I've never torn an ACL, but isn'y it possible to stand on it after it is torn?

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Cutler-s-NFL-contemporaries-go-after-him-on-Twit?urn=nfl-311321

that article should be entitled "NFL players make complete fools of themselves"

seriously, when a guy blows out his knee his season is over, except when it's an important game and then everyone calls him a [expletive] and a quitter.

Stephen A Smith's twitter: (combined the tweets)

Jay Cutler SUCKS!!! He will never live this down. Don't give me some mess about his knee. Stay in the locker room. Be on your way to the Hospital. If u have the unmitigated gall to be on the sidelines, have the decency to be on crutches or something. This dude was on a bicycle while the 3rd string QB was on the field doing a better job than you. The players will never respect him again. Neither will the city of Chicago. Awful! It's reasons like this why teams like the Jets speak so glowingly of Big Ben while, despite all his talents, no one has a positive word to Cutler. No excuse for this nonsense. I'm so happy for Rodgers and GB, just to erase the memory of Brett Favre. But Cutler? A joke. PATHETIC!

then

Oh Stop it! The FACT is the dude was walking around and riding a bicycle while a trip to the SB was on the line. You don't think some of his teammates were hurting? It's football. You play until you can't play. You don't ride a bicycle and complain about your leg when IT'S YOUR ARM that's needed. It's inexcusable. Spare me the excuses.

I wish nothing but the best for humanity but hate all humans

A person can be smart.

But people? People are stupid.

This is getting real ugly. Not on this board so much but in the media.

I don't blame jay for anything more than playing like crap. Hanie gave us a better shot anyways. I'd blame the coaches, bad luck, and yes even the damn officials more. I still can believe the NFL let that ref do this game.

[expletive] angelos. get a [expletive] o-line already

If the decision on Cutler was made by the medical staff, why did they let him go out again in the second half?

you mean they couldnt decide after his 1st series in the 2nd half??

Does anybody know if Cutler even went to the locker room in the 2nd half at all? I mean don't stadiums have like X-Ray or MRI machine there and whatnot?

He went in before the end of the first half

You mean can't? All the Bear fans were happy that they had this ref because he was the one behind the 18 penalty barrage the Packers had earlier in the season.

"all"?

jesus christ. you are so full of [expletive]

[expletive]. Hanie played better then Rodgers. all this meant was that Todd Collins should never have been on this roster.

That's what I get out of this. Vet qb is the worst position in football

I can't believe Jay didn't risk his career, and his quality of life (playing with little/no mobility against that defense/our o-line screams another concussion to me)for our enjoyment! Edited by Brian

Jones Drew has a lot of [expletive] nerve! That [expletive] sat out the last 2 games with his team's playoff chances on the line. [expletive] him.

Seriously what's your problem? Do you have any idea how people talk and how language works? Do you take every single line you have ever heard absolutely literally just so you can supposedly tell me how much of an idiot you are? With that said, look back at the posts in this thread and every Bear fan was happy that the had this ref cause he was the guy who threw a ton of flags earlier in the season.
