Can someone help me understand the concussion thing with Cutler? Concussions are pretty pass/fail in terms of playing, so if he had a concussion I don't think he would've attempted playing again before leaving. Also, if the concussion was why he was pulled, then why the time on the bike? And if the concussion isn't why he left the game, then why does it matter?

I didn't hear anything about a concussion, just a knee and elbow injury (there was blood coming through his undershirt, whatever)

I don't think anyone said he had a concussion. I only heard of a knee.

Collins had a better rating than Cutler

You're dumb and easily the worst poster on this forum.

Because I state facts? I don't get why you are so pissed off. It was just an odd stat.

You don't state facts. You paint your opinions and plain out ignorance as facts. It's brutally embarrassing.

Philips Rivers basically had no ACL and could barely walk, but he played in the AFC Championship game against NE

Cutler is a bitch. If you can walk around the sideline, you suck it up and try to play. It's for a trip to the [expletive] Super Bowl and your backup is Todd Collins.

I find it hard to believe his injury is more serious than Rivers' was.

And I understand that there is only one Tom Brady and Manning. I wasn't pairing Cutler into those two, but, having seen Cutler play in Denver, when he's good, he is good, but when things aren't going his way, he mentally checks out. His toughness has been called into question before. Honestly, I don't know how serious his knee is, but this is the NFC Championship game, and Cutler was standing around with that knee. Looked fine to me.

Put on a brace and get back on the field. *shrug*

Either way, good season for you guys. At least you guys lasted longer than my Chiefs could.

The thing is, he did come back into the game. He was going to be pulled at half time and came in for the first drive and then left. What does that say?

[expletive] you you stupid [expletive] piece of fuckinh [expletive]. You don't no [expletive] [expletive] about [expletive] but you yAlk nothing but [expletive] and pretend you arena [expletive] satans [expletive] whore

I don't know, and I can't answer that question. I'm just purely spectulating here. It could be that the knee was very seriously injured. Or maybe it could be that Cutler didn't want to play. I don't know.

That's BS, no offense but it is. You just directly compared Jay Cutler to Jeff George in the worst possible way.

You're not speculating. You're casting aspersions.

None taken. The reason why I'm comparing Cutler to George is because both of them had excellent physical talent. Their toughness and leadership abilities are being questioned.

With that being said, I'm done with this issue. Good luck with Cutler is all I'm going to say.

This will turn out well. Fans burning Cutler jerseys in the parking lot.

I just picked your most recent [expletive] post, since you've made so many [expletive] ones in the past half hour.

So you chose to pick a post that was factually correct instead of the so called obvious ones? And I'm the dumb one?

I remain convinced that the coaching staff purposefully benched him

There were multiple rumors at halftime that he had a concussion but we've only heard knee injury through the media.

Thing is, Hanie probably gave the Bears a better chance of winning than a hobbled Cutler considering the pressure he was under.

Played 1 quarter with a Concussion is referencing the Giants game

There were rumors he had a concussion at halftime. Check the Packers thread:

Total speculation, but Jason Goff thinks he has a concussion. That wouldn't surprise me with the way he's playing right now.

whatever. they were going for broke at that point, and Hanie was just gun slinging it. they didn't do that all 1st half.

Cutler was having trouble hitting guys who were pretty open. But the larger point is that Cutler was probably immobile and you can't have that with this line and the Packers pressure.

My new policy is I will never discuss a Bears quarterback with any person ever again. I've spent too much time doing it and it's a lost cause.

I take back all the negative things I said about Packer fans. They clearly are smarter than a certain segment of Bears fans.
