I still can believe the NFL let that ref do this game.

You mean can't? All the Bear fans were happy that they had this ref because he was the one behind the 18 penalty barrage the Packers had earlier in the season.

I meant can't. Whenever there's a situation like this you know the ref is going the other way. It's human nature. All the packer fans whining about this game. It was dumb. What do they think? That the ref is a secret bear fan or bet on the game? I didn't know 1 bears fan of any intelligence who was happy with this guy before the game. The whining after game 1 was so over the top. And the whiny ass packers didn't stop during this game. Every freaking play they were crying about a call. And they were getting them.

I actually respected them. And they acted like a bunch of bitches.

Jones Drew has a lot of [expletive] nerve! That [expletive] sat out the last 2 games with his team's playoff chances on the line. [expletive] him.

And if Jay did have a torn ACL, I doubt that was the same injury that Jones-Drew had. No one plays a season with a torn ACL if you are a running back.

The hits just keep coming. Geez, I'm starting to hate twitter as in invention. It pisses me off to read all this but at the same time I cant stop reading about it.

Deion Sanders wrote, “Im telling u in the playoffs u must drag me off the field. All the medicine in pro lockerooms this dude comes out! I apologize bear fans! . . . Folks i never question a players injury but i do question a players heart.

Even one of Cutler’s fellow quarterbacks, Oakland’s Bruce Gradkowski, got in on the action, writing that he once played with two torn MCLs and adding, “Is cutler still ur starter next year? Did the players give up on him?”

Forte is a god damned superstar though

Impressive effort. Too bad he doesn't have the skill for impact.

not sure if serious

at some point i would've split Forte out wide on all pass plays. he's the only one that can get open with consistency

for real? the coaches are the ones that made the decision. are they going to bench the best qb in bears history for not overpowering them and staging a mutiny on the field?

Forte benefited from Martz's schemes. hes incredibly adaptable, but not a superstar of anything really

I see what you're saying but he did a lot of turning short gains into biggish plays the last half of the season. I was really down on him last year, and he's not gonna blow you away with his athleticism, but he's been pretty damn good.

Very serious. Nice player but no impact.

Bruce Gradkowski playing with two torn MCL's is still just like Bruce Gradkowski: horrible.

Yeah coaches make the decisions, but are you gonna tell that if it was Big Ben/Farve/Brady/Manning/Brees instead of Cutler that they would've stayed on the sideline and not play when they can walk around or ride the bike??? Heck even Philip Rivers or McNabb or Vick... I bet you not one of them would've sat down that 2nd half unless they were in a wheelchair or stretcher...

Well he's not a home run hitter but he and a Jennings looked like the best offensive players on the field by far.

you're not going to ruin your franchise for one game, no matter how big the game is.

Not a superstar but I believe he is a star. The season he had with that o-line is impressive. Forte running in the open field is just scary. He's really shifty, gets by and breaks tacklers, and runs good routes when hes going out on passing plays. I am not sure how his blocking is, but considering the Bears ran the majority of their offensive plays without a FB/H-Back he is probably pretty decent. He's a great all around player, the best offensive player for the bears today, and is probably the 2nd most talented offensive player in most games besides Cutler.

He may not be a 'superstar' but he's a great piece to have.

Even if you do think Cutler "quit" today, it does no good to try to run him out of town. Who are you going to get who is a better QB than Cutler? Why make it that much harder for Cutler to succeed here?

Heart doesn't equal intelligence. Cutler was ineffective and couldn't move after the injury, walking and riding the bike don't involve one critical thing that the ACL is really needed for: twisting on the knee. Rivers played with a torn ACL in the 2007-08 AFC CG and was horrible.

He's not a superstar because he doesn't do anything that sets him apart from the rest. Yet in his first year he led the league in yards from scrimmage and this year he was tenth. I think he could use a little more breakaway speed.

deion sanders talking about a player's toughness is priceless. He went like 16 games without a tackle for god's sakes
