Congratulations to the Bears for a good, hard-fought game. But, remember how I've been saying all year long that the Packers were the better team and it would be proven at the end? Yeah.

Anyway, I have a feeling this won't be the last time the two meet in the playoffs. Both teams are good now, and will probably be good for quite a while.

Roll your fat ass back to the Packers thread, you stupid inbred.

Stay classy, Butters. Your tears sustain me. Keep crying.

I thought Wendy's triple stacks and anything with salt sustained you.

Yep, the Packers were better than the Collins/Hanie led QB combo.

I would never have believed the Bears could have lost to a QB who had no TDs, 2 INTs, and a QB rating of 55. But they did enough and made less mistakes than the Bears so I give them credit for that. Bears can't have 89 yards of penalties and allow 120 yards of rushing. They aren't good enough to overcome that. And they were down 10 minutes in TOP too.

Since when is "Congratulations to the Bears for a good game, I was right, and both teams will be good for a long time" trolling? I was pointing out a fact. I've said all along that the Packers were the better team. Go to the week 3 game thread if you don't believe it. I've taken crap for it all year, and was simply pointing out that I was right before I went back to complimenting the Bears.

Seriously, on a scale of 1-10, that rates about a 2 in trolling.

Stay classy, Butters.

We're not the ones who forced you to come into the Bears thread and gloat about the Packers win.

i bolded the trolling part in case you were confused. you came into a thread that's clearly marked (Bears fans) and posted something smug. of course you're going to get abuse.

True, but nothing in there forced the personal attacks, either. It's a two-way street. I attacked after I was attacked first. Plain and simple.

However, seeing as I have better things to do tonight, I will say this: Congratulations to the Bears on a good season and for nearly pulling out the win despite the injury to Cutler. I honestly thought they were going to tie it on that final drive. The Bears are going to be a force to be reckoned with for quite some time, and I wouldn't at all be shocked to see them back in the NFC Championship Game next year.

However, to those who are personally attacking me for coming in to congratulate the Bears: Kiss my ample ass.

That is all.

I know you don't want to hear this but...

Good game. Great effort from the Bears defense in the 2nd half to control Rodgers and to stuff the Packers running game. I can't believe something called Caleb Hanie was driving to tie the game at the end, great heart from the Bears. Hanie played really well besides that Raji pick 6. I also can't believe that reverse call on 3rd down after a timeout. When it was 14-0 and we were moving up and down the field I finally relaxed and then that stupid ball bounced off Drivers foot and I thought oh great here we go again. I relaxed again after the Raji pick 6 but Hanie then drives them down in like a min and it was a 1 score game again. Coming into the year I really didn't think much of the Bears and I do think they caught a few breaks during the regular season but there is no doubt that the Bears D was for real this year. They really need to work on protecting Cutler and giving him a bigger type WR to throw to IMO. The D Line didn't play up to par today but I think your fine there and Urlacher (who played like a beast today) and Briggs your fine there as well. I do think they need another Safety or Cornerback to go along with Tillman. I do think if they can fix the O-Line and protect Cutler more they could be right back in the NFC Title game next year.

Anyways, sorry for the rambling and sorry if you didn't want any "Good game" bs from a Packer fan, but I respect this board (for the most part:)) and I do think the Bears will contend for the NFC Title again next year. And I am sorry for the BS story's you will have to listen to with Cutler in the next few weeks.

The line was bad, but people keep forgetting that the Martz system is tough on lines, especially really young lines. They aren't as bad as they seem. Really this game could have gone either way. Rodgers could have scored more. He gave one to Urlacher that could have been a pick six. So could Briggs'. This game was won on the lines. The Bears couldn't pressure Rodgers, and the Pack had four sacks. And the Pack rushed for 120.

The notion that Jay Cutler isn't tough is ridiculous. He tried to fight the training staff to stay in the game with his knee injury.

Boers and Bernstein will be fun tomorrow. The entire show will be meatballs calling in calling Cutler a wuss followed by Bernstein screaming at them for being idiots.

People need to stop speculating on him being run out of town. There's no way that will happen. It might end up with him getting Rex treatment from the fans next year though.

lol, I started reading this and was like 'wow, that was actually pretty classy erik" and then I got to your second sentence and yup, there's erik. The Packers proved that Rodgers is mediocre against the Bears D and that the Packers cannot move the ball on the Bears for 60 minutes. 14 offensive points?

Apparently Clay Matthews made some comment about how they made Cutler quit. Idiot.

Also, Cutler apparently cried during his postgame interview? I didn't see it.

In case people didnt click on the SI link posted earlier:

Cutler appeared genuinely hurt when asked about the comments, saying: "No comment on that." He then turned his back to reporters, fiddled with some things on a shelf and bit his lip as tears welled.

[expletive] I hate Bears fans. Unbelievable.
