There are actual sports experts out there tweeting that they think Cutler is done in Chicago after today.

I want to go on a sports expert rampage.

Better watch out. I hear that sports expert board is prone to revoking those sport expert cards.

Well this game was weird as hell. Played about as poorly as we could and to keep it this close. Defense played its heart out. Hanie gave us a weird spark at the end.

Ugh.

Cannot wait to hear the endless sports callers calling for Hanie as the starter.

Well, I'm not going to be one of them, but if I was Chicago, I would take a real long hard look on Cutler, and what to do about him from here on forth.

That guy is starting to remind me of Jeff George.

yes, you would. what a joke.

You're saying that you're content with Culter as your QB?

is this a trick question? go away

Makes it so bad is he puts Dez Clark outside. Oooh...that'll surprise them, let's put a blocking TE on the outside who has played 3 games all year. [expletive] morons.

Yes, a hundred times yes. Are you high?

I'm more than content. But then again, I only realize there's 1 Tom Brady and 1 Peyton Manning in the NFL and that Cutler is one of the 10 best QBs in football while surrounded by one of the worst supporting cast (sans Forte) around, including a historically bad offensive line.

Hopefully the Cutler hate that's coming doesn't obscure the fact that the coaching staff came out with a crap gameplan, had Collins out there as the #2, and called that horrid end around on a 3rd down when a run would have done.

I don't know, man. The mind of a meatball isn't really capable of considering more than one thing at once.

Strahan needs to avoid saying the word business.

even lou holtz was like "that's a lot of spit flying out of his mouth"

Didn't we just have about 40 years of crap at qb? Yeah I think we are ok with Jay Cutler now. Unreal.

The Bears don't need another short, fast receiver. They need a big target.

Doesn't matter if Martz won't change the offense for that WR. He would just sit him like he did Aromashodu because of some BS reason.

No, it's not a trick question. I'm just asking an open honest question, that's all.

I really, really, really hope Lovie and company don't get extensions. That game was a pretty bad indictment of the coaching staff.

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of blame to go around, but the coaching in that game was pretty bad.

About the playcall:

Say we convert on 3rd and 4th down. Say we even manage somehow to score another TD, are we still winning in overtime (Now that just a field goal doesn't suffice)? Game was still technically in doubt but the game was lost long beforehand.

I'm done with Martz. The Bears didn't want him at first and then had to get him because no one else wanted the job. Yes he was able to make changes in the Dallas game, but reverted back to the old Martz after. The Yahoo! report of this week made it known that it wasn't Martz who became balanced. In the bye week Lovie forced him to. The guy they originally wanted, Bates, is free now.

Peppers did NOTHING!

Yeah, because that Packer offense was just moving up and down the field...

It gets to OT I think you have to like our chances at that point. Oh wait, new rule. Nevermind.

cutler had an average QB rating, which isn't bad for a fairly young guy with mediocre WRs and a mediocre OL. how are you going to improve on him? it's not like teams are looking to deal elite QBs and the bears have a late first round draft pick.

Well, my bet is they wake up and start moving the ball better than we do in overtime and we're not playing a mostly prevent non-blitzing defense
