He just didnt try to play good? Really? Wow that may be the absolute most ignorant thing Ive ever read on this site. Ever.

You think sitting down and not even trying to fight a guy trying to bring you down is playing well or not? It is perfectly clear to me that Cutler got flustered by the pressure and pretty much gave up.

When the guys are wrapping him up and there are more than 1 doing it, fighting them is not going to do much. He was flustered, and for all we know, his head was seeing stars, but to think he gave up is absurd.

The plays I am talking about was when there was only one guy trying to wrap him up.

Oh, so he only had one 300 lb monster dragging him to the turf.

I'm going to the game at Carolina next week. I'm not looking forward to it as much as I was. One consolation is that I'll either see my favorite team win or else see the local team (whom I root for when they're not playing the Bears) win their first game of the year.

You're probably right. I just don't want to entertain the thought that Cutler had a bad concussion and we're looking at multiple Collins/Hanie starts.

What was the injury report on Collins? He didn't look too good, either.

Whatever. You think he quit, gave up, whatever and you arent going to change your mind and Im not going to change my mind that its a completely ignorant position to take regarding Cutler so.

You just say "whatever"? I said "a guy" in my original post, not two or three. You assume two or three when I said one. Don't blame me buddy.

There are plays when you have no chance to break free so you try to soften the blow that is coming. There are other plays when you have a chance of breaking free. I've seen Jay break free from guys that this year. Those are the types I am taking about. After he had been sacked a few times I think he didn't really try to get away from a few situations where there was only one guy going for him.

Wilson, I don't understand why you're acting like it's the worst thing in the world to not struggle against a 300 pound man trying to violently throw you to the ground...I mean, if he struggles and tries to get away, what happens? He still doesn't get away from him and he is more likely to fumble. If you get wrapped up, you hold onto the ball and hope for another play.

It just infuriates me to think about how bad the O-line is just knowing how many years we've all clearly known it was subpar. I just don't understand the thought process on Angelo almost completely ignoring it the last few years. Normally people complain about something the GM does, and there's usually much more known behind the scenes or something. But in this case, I can't really see a justification for what they did. The TE they signed who I'm not going to attempt to spell correctly has looked horrible from what I've seen this year. Looks like another Orlando Pace.

Shaffer? Omiyale? 35+ year old Orlando Pace? These are the acquisitions that are supposed to rebuild an aging O-line. It's like Angelo got lucky picking Reuben Brown and Fred Miller off the scrap heap so he believes this is the best way to build an o-line by limiting resources spent on that position and signing past their prime guys hoping for a final spark, or unhearalded backups from other teams and hoping to strike gold. Hasn't worked very well Angelo, and your stupid o-line is the biggest barrier to having a pretty damn good offense. Instead it's extremely inconsistent. For all the talk of the offense looking good the first 3 weeks, we scored 19, 27, and 20 points in the first 3 games, now 3 this game. That's now an average of 17 points per game. Not good enough, but I tend to think we are just fatally flawed. It's not something where players just need to play better, its a matter of simply having little to no talent at the position.

oh, and packer fans, there you go, the division is yours.

After today's performance? I'm not buying it.

There's one good team in the NFL. The blob has never been as big as it is this season.

the division is yours, the packers will win it. the bears have commenced the free-fall.

LOL the bandwagon is clearing out already.

I'm beginning to think offensive line might be a need

You noticed that too eh?

There were people playing O-line last night that I hadn't heard of.
