The only way the Bears score a TD is if one of their receivers or backs makes some huge plays after a screen pass or a slant or something. It's not going to be from a long drive or anything like that.

 

Pass interference call on a badly underthrown Collins ball.

 

That won't do it either because they still have to make a play to get it in the end zone.

After today's performance? I'm not buying it.

 

There's one good team in the NFL. The blob has never been as big as it is this season.

Oh well.

 

This was just an awful game. I have absolutely no idea where we go from here. Absolutely nothing on offense went right today. We probably had the worst offensive game in the history of the franchise. The only game I remember seeing as bad as this is the Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys in 2004 but I think that was slightly better.

 

Obviously if Cutler can play soon that's some bit of optimism, but it's obvious the offense is not going to ever operate properly with this oline. We cannot ever run the ball. It's not like we are just bad and get 3 YPC, we get completely stuffed at the line 8 out of every 10 running plays. We can barely ever pass the ball. Everytime we drop back for more than 3 steps there is someone in their face. It's just unbelievably bad.

 

This is a defining point of the season for the Bears. We could either play better next week and consider this a semi-fluke game or we could completely collapse like last years team did after starting 3-1. What will we do?
