After sneaking in the playoffs by becoming the first team this year to beat three teams in three days, the Southsiders head to Tampa to face the upstart Rays.

The Fighting Ozzies have understandably not announced their starter yet, while the Rays will go with James Shields. Hopefully his pitching skills are better than his boxing skills...

This series starts Thursday rather than Wednesday, which works out well for the guys from the Cell.

Note: Don Orsillo, the Red Sox play by play man, will be broadcasting this series for TBS.

I'm glad CC will be back as it will be good to have another speed threat out there in the dome as well as one of the team leaders, I didn't think he'd make it back. Of course, Danks and Buehrle give him trouble.

After seeing all the bandwagon fans in Tampa Bay just now, I'm officially pulling for the White Sox. Screw those fans.

That would be kind of BS if the bandwagon Rays fans got to see a World Series and we don't.

I just can't pull for the W.Sox under any circumstance.

It's a choice between that and the Angels, Red Sox or White Sox fans getting to see another in short succession.

The Marlins have a worse fan-base then Tampa, and they have two WS wins under their belt. Ahhh! This is getting depressing!

I'm rooting for the Rays because it's good for baseball to have small market teams win and I hate both of the Sox and don't care about the Angels. But, if the Rays make it I want them to lose to the Cubs, not have them win it.

3-1 White Sox.

I think Sox are going to take this series.

I have a feeling they are going to win it and we will lose in the first round.
