I'm pretty much at a loss regarding what happened to him. I once thought he was going to be a 10-15 HR type of guy.

He was a 15 HR guy already. He hit 13 in 455 ABs in 06. He hit 8 in 235 last year. He clearly would have hit over 15 HRs in a full season before what has ever happened to him this year.

Don't they have to take the tarp off to get the water off, then put it back on so they can roll it up properly? I'm guessing that's why they took it off, put it on, and then took it back off.

They sure can be. I was visiting a friend and ended up out at the bars til 4 am last night... then I had to get up around 11 to drive the hour back to my apartment. I'm honestly surprised I made it all the way back without

 

A) Vomiting

 

B) Falling Asleep

 

C) Crapping Myself

I'd imagine Fukudome would get 1 of the days off. Theriot or Derosa would get another. Lou has been pretty consistent in getting Cedeno in there vs. a LHP.

Wow, that pitcher from 40 years ago is actually throwing it harder than like 75 mph!! I'd like to see a game from just 20 years before that because there is NO WAY those guys were throwing that hard in the 40's, and DEFINITELY not in the 1930's. I wonder what mutation occurred in the human species in such a short time that allowed major league pitchers to go from 60 mph to like 85+.
