Why didn't OMC start this thread?

Spot starter = 1 time start win or lose.

Im thinking Pie is going to get the start in 2 days

Cubs.com seems to agree with you:

Felix Pie will be back in the lineup Tuesday night when the Cubs open an eight-game homestand against the Reds and former manager Dusty Baker.

Dusty wants to win this one badly. If Harangs effective, I bet he stays out there for 125 or more.

I don't have a problem with that as long as Harang is immediately scheduled for TJS and we don't have to face him anymore this season.

So, we could have our first "epic" showdown of the Cubs two former CF phenoms? Ohman, I can't wait to see Corey Patterson .v. Felix Pie. Oh look, you see the hot dog vendor behind left field fence? It's former ROY Jerome Walton. :)

Not true; Kent has already resurrected from the dead, so therefore cannot die.

This will be my third game of the season. My friend's bringing a sign with a picture of Ryan Dempster, and the caption "Ry Young."

Does anyone know how early we have to get in line for front row bleacher seats? For day games, I usually just get there an hour before the park opens, but I've never been to a night game in the bleachers before, so I'm just wondering if the line's about the same? Longer? Shorter? I know this game's not sold out, but the bleachers are always packed. Our tentative plan is to take the train from Matteson at 2:00, get downtown around 3:00, hop on the redline, and be in Wrigleyville by 3:30, get a couple beers each at one of the local establishments, and then walk over to Wrigley and get in line at 4:00.

Hopefully Kosuke can figure some things out and get hot again. I'm not worried because obviously there is an adjustment period once pitchers find a way to pitch to you, but .214/.333/.214/.547 over the last 7 games is blah. His OPS for the year dipped under .900 after yesterday's performance.

It's not so much I'm worried about his hitting overall, but I'm worried in the long run about his power. Doesn't seem to get too many line drives at all. I think I read somewhere after his first week that his LD% was really low compared to his slg %, and that being a huge indicator of a big drop off. Obviously no one expected him to slug .700 for the year, and I'm probably going to look like a fool when he adjusts and picks it up a bit, but right now I'm a tad worried.

Are you suggesting you don't look like one now? I keed, I keed. Seriously though, I'm a bit concerned myself. I'm assuming/hoping he just needs to adjust. He's too intelligent of a hitter to hit that poorly for any real length of time.

Well, lets put it this way, when I get there about 3 hours before game time there is usually already a short line started. And that's for day games. I'd suggest at least an hour and a half-two hours. But that's just a complete guess, really. So in other words - your tentative plan sounds great, you're pretty much assured a front row seat.

Nah, night games are not that bad for the bleachers. Everyone is coming from work and doesn't get to the park before 6-6:30. I usually show up an hour before the game and get close seats. As long as your not in a large group you should be fine showing up an hour before. If you get in line at 4, you'll probably get the same seats as you would if you got in there at 5:30-6:00

BTW, am I the only one that doesn't really give a crap about Dusty Baker coming back? It's not like I don't hate the man like everyone else, it's just that I don't care. Once he left the Cubs, I could care less what he does.

I feel the same way. I don't care at all. I'm just glad we don't have to deal with him anymore. Same for Patterson. I don't care that he's coming back to Wrigley either.
