There is a LOT of butchering of "couldn't care less" in this thread.

I was just getting ready to break out the little graphic explanation...

Except that "could care less" is sarcasm.

This will be my third game of the season. My friend's bringing a sign with a picture of Ryan Dempster, and the caption "Ry Young."

Does anyone know how early we have to get in line for front row bleacher seats? For day games, I usually just get there an hour before the park opens, but I've never been to a night game in the bleachers before, so I'm just wondering if the line's about the same? Longer? Shorter? I know this game's not sold out, but the bleachers are always packed. Our tentative plan is to take the train from Matteson at 2:00, get downtown around 3:00, hop on the redline, and be in Wrigleyville by 3:30, get a couple beers each at one of the local establishments, and then walk over to Wrigley and get in line at 4:00.

What's this? Do the Cubs hold off selling the front row bleacher seats until a few hours before the game? Is this for every game? That's interesting ...

No, the bleachers are General Admission, so he wants to get there early so he can get a good seat before someone else takes it.

So the Cubs don't sell bleacher seats online? And there is no such thing as "season ticket" bleacher seats?

Yes, they sell bleacher seats online - no there are no season ticket bleachers.

What they're trying to say is you can buy the ticket online but it's a general admission ticket. You can sit anywhere you want with the ticket. Thus, he wants to get there early so people don't fill up the front row before he gets there.

No season tickets for bleachers. They're sold online but are sold as general admissions, first come first serve.

From time to time. Most of the time, it's someone getting the actual phrase completely wrong.

I think there are bleacher season tickets. I'm almost positive Al Yellon from BCB has season tickets in the bleachers.

I don't think they ever phased out bleacher season tickets. They can be renewed, but they don't offer any new season tickets.

I'm pretty sure that we were told there are no season tickets in the bleachers whatsoever. Though maybe somebody did get grandfathered in - but it didn't sound that way when we had things like this explained to us.

The diagram is funny.

As for you? I COULDN'T CARE LESS!

I'm almost certain my girlfriend's cousin's friend has season tickets in the bleachers. Her cousin got us bleacher seats last year for the Milwaukee game following the Aramis game, and I'm pretty sure he got them through a friend who has season tickets.

I've been looking at the weather for tonight and tomorrow.

Winds between 25 and 30 mph from the south and southwest? Gusting up to 40 mph?

Sounds fun.

So high scoring game then?

It's remarkably weak sarcasm, and whoever uses it as such should cease immediately.

I could care less, either way. \:D/

Guess this answers the question of who will get the loudest boos tonight.

There are definitely several grandfathered-in bleacher season ticketholders.

Why would Bako the the loudest boo's?

He was never a fan favorite that sucked and went to another team, or the manager of the team that fell apart when all the fans had such high hopes. Bako actually did an okay job for the Cubs considering he wasn't coming in to be anthing more then a back up catcher.

Methinks there was just the slightest bit of sarcasm in his comment. I'm sure Bako will be received indifferently

Chone Figgins went 2-for-4 with a walk and his seventh steal Tuesday in the Angels' 7-4 win over the Rangers.

There's a case for Figgins as the AL's best player so far. He's hitting .393 and leading the league with a .507 OBP, 13 walks and seven steals. All of the walks are an especially nice surprise. His career high is 65, established when he had 604 at-bats in 2006. He did have a slghtly better rate last year, walking 51 times in 442 at-bats.

Him in CF and in the top of the order wouldv'e been real nice....Wasn't Hendry asking the Angels about him?

Yeah, but didn't they want Aramis?

I vaguely remember laughing about that.
