b) Corey could have definately had the first ball he played off the wall. He would have had a questionable shot at the second one. He was harassed all game long (a good 3 or 4 of the hecklers got the boot), even laughing and joking along with some of the people.

What were they saying?

Standard trash talking stuff. Nothing that too over the top, which is why I was a little surprised that he actually responded enough. Alot of "5 tool player my a**" and "We chose your brother over you" and "Watch out for the curveballs" etc. And then some jokes pertaining to his sexuality, which have been largely questioned over the years.

But you give a guy and six of his friends a couple beers and they think they are the funniest guys in the world. Actually glad to see them tossed, were ruining the game.

Towards the end of the game, met with some friends sitting near center...

I don't know how it looked on TV, but Kerry's backdoor slider to strike out Corey in the 9th was absolutely sick. He had no chance of hitting that. Wood started it so far into the right hand batter's box, and then it just ripped the outside corner.

Sounds about right. heckling generally isn't a problem unless F-bombs or repeated swearing occurs. Or slurs of any kind, sexual or racial.

The best one i've heard all year was the "Sli-ding Glass Door *clap clap clapclapclap*" thing the fans in Right were doing to Hunter Pence

It was absolutely filthy. I seriously haven't seen a pitch that filthy since...

...Marmol pitched the 8th.

(I love those two.)

You guys have got to stop thinking of these baseball players like they're fine china.

Yes, Soriano did hurt his calf on that hop, but if something as trivial as that hop can hurt you, then your calf must have been on the brink anyways. If it wasn't that hop, it would have been something else.

Waiting on a plane on Atlanta. Windy weather has me and my new drinking buddies waiting on the tarmac in Hartsfield. Just wanted a quick post on 2 topics and say hello to my Cub fan brethren:

1. GEOVANNY SOTO

2. Technology rocks
