BTW, am I the only one that doesn't really give a crap about Dusty Baker coming back? It's not like I don't hate the man like everyone else, it's just that I don't care. Once he left the Cubs, I could care less what he does.

I feel the same way. I don't care at all. I'm just glad we don't have to deal with him anymore. Same for Patterson. I don't care that he's coming back to Wrigley either.

Yea, same here. I could care less. If feels like a decade has past since he was last here.

Im thinking Pie is going to get the start in 2 days

Cubs.com seems to agree with you:

Felix Pie will be back in the lineup Tuesday night when the Cubs open an eight-game homestand against the Reds and former manager Dusty Baker.

So, we could have our first "epic" showdown of the Cubs two former CF phenoms? Ohman, I can't wait to see Corey Patterson .v. Felix Pie. Oh look, you see the hot dog vendor behind left field fence? It's former ROY Jerome Walton. :)

And isn't that Tuffy Rhodes shaggin' homerun balls out on Waveland?

I know...I know...Tuffy is a phenom in Japan...it is still a funny image.

I only want them to fail the next three days. I can't really hate a man for being mentally challenged, it's not nice.

Looks like the wind will be blowing out. I predict Soto goes deep twice.......1 more than Dunn.

To be fair, Adam Dunn will likely hit one so far, it might as well be counted as to. As you already know, "He's country strong."

Dunn for Hill

Has there ever been a Cubs vs Reds series where Dunn didn't hit a home run. It seems like he always hits at least one.

There is a LOT of butchering of "couldn't care less" in this thread.

I was just getting ready to break out the little graphic explanation...

Go Reds.

Take that stupid crap somewhere else!

Go. Reds.

Let me go to Redszone.com and post Go Cubs and see how people react.

People are getting way too worked up over a harmless comment. It was two words.

I'm with you. Let's move forward. It's like all the Saints fans who still gripe about Ditka all the time. I sort of though he fit in nicely down here...

I really wish I could watch this game. But with the city of Memphis,TN being located so close to Cincinnati, MLB has blacked it out. I guess I should just make the 10 hour drive up there to watch it. Thanks Major League Baseball.

I agree with the sentiment in your post. The blackouts are a joke, but no way in hell can that be a 10 hour drive. It takes me 10 hours to do Chicago to Atlanta, and I'm positive that Memphis is quite a bit closer to Cincy than that.

Dunn and Burrell always seem to be able to cut through the wind when Cubs teams struggle to hit for power.

It was definitely an uneducated guess. I've never thought about driving to Cincinatti so I really had no clue. I just checked and I am however 500 miles south of Cincinatti.

This will be my third game of the season. My friend's bringing a sign with a picture of Ryan Dempster, and the caption "Ry Young."

Does anyone know how early we have to get in line for front row bleacher seats? For day games, I usually just get there an hour before the park opens, but I've never been to a night game in the bleachers before, so I'm just wondering if the line's about the same? Longer? Shorter? I know this game's not sold out, but the bleachers are always packed. Our tentative plan is to take the train from Matteson at 2:00, get downtown around 3:00, hop on the redline, and be in Wrigleyville by 3:30, get a couple beers each at one of the local establishments, and then walk over to Wrigley and get in line at 4:00.

What's this? Do the Cubs hold off selling the front row bleacher seats until a few hours before the game? Is this for every game? That's interesting ...

No, the bleachers are General Admission, so he wants to get there early so he can get a good seat before someone else takes it.

That's funny. The wind is blowing in and they do seem to be able to put one in the seats. I sit back thinking no one on this day will put one out and boom, one of these two puts one in the seats.

So the Cubs don't sell bleacher seats online? And there is no such thing as "season ticket" bleacher seats?
